In 2022, 68 scholarships were granted. In addition to sending each puppy home with the Service Dog Success online course, we also donate an online course for every puppy who stays for one of our puppy programs.

HSD donated 1 of our 6-month old puppy program dogs to someone with a disability.
HSD donated 1 of our 6-month old puppy program dogs to the Orange County Sheriff Department for their Victim Advocates, providing emotional support to victims of crimes, and will also be available to members of the agency during times of need.
HSD donated 1 puppy as a companion dog.

The grand total in scholarships, training, and dogs donated in 2022 is $123,796.

In 2021, one in January and one in April for in person training classes. One online training scholarship has been granted.

In 2020, two scholarships were for in person training classes in November.

Hope Service Dogs, Inc is proud to offer two Hope for the Future Scholarships for service dog education:

Hope Service Dogs grants an online school scholarship for every pup who enrolls in one of our Puppy Programs. This trains 2 dogs, the puppy who stays and another service dog candidate.

One of our 2022 goals is to grant at least 2 in-person school scholarships.

The scholarship must only be used for the school applied for and is not transferable to any future school.

While people with HSD Puppies have priority, we encourage all who are interested to apply.

Our scholarships are for service dog education, they do not provide you with one of our puppies.
