Hope Service Dogs, Inc., is delighted to announce the donation of the future therapy dog for the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Victim Advocacy Group. A 6 month old Golden Retriever puppy is ready to spread her wings and show the world what she can do! The puppy, named Pegasus, is the first HSD puppy donated to work in conjunction with law enforcement.
Hope Service Dogs, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that breeds, raises, and trains golden retriever service dogs for people with disabilities. Founded in 2018, HSD has bred close to 100 puppies, focusing on health and temperament. HSD provides quality service dog prospects. Pegasus, a puppy from HSD’s Hercules litter, was initially chosen to stay for HSD’s breeding program. However, upon learning of the VIctim Advocacy Group’s need for a therapy dog the Executive Officer, Victoria Warfel, knew immediately the path that Pegasus was meant to fly! The puppies of HSD live and work all over the country. They are making a difference in lives every day!
Born on the fourth of July, Pegasus’ training has established the foundational building blocks for success. She also possesses key behaviors that will be beneficial in her future career. Pegasus is a confident, strong dog that loves to meet new people and play. She will serve the Victim Advocacy Group well.

For the last 5 years, Hope Service Dogs, Inc. has been providing quality service dog prospects that are bred, raised and trained to mitigate the unique needs of individuals with disabilities. Along with the Warrior Program, HSD programs include their breeding program and the Hope for the Future scholarship, which allows HSD to provide education to individuals all over the world.
