Take responsibility for your puppy's training from the beginning.
Option 2 — Train With Your Own Trainer
Work with a professional trainer of your choice while following the HSD foundation.
Option 3 — Train On Your Own
You can train your puppy yourself using our Service Dog Success Online Course, which is included with every puppy.
Option 4 — HSD Puppy Training Programs
Have HSD begin your puppy's foundational training before and/or after going home.

Which Path Is Right for You?
There isn't one right way to raise and train an HSD puppy.
Some families want to take their puppy home at 8 weeks and handle training themselves. Others work with their own professional trainer. Some choose HSD's training programs to give their puppy additional foundational training.
The right path depends on your goals, experience, resources, and the individual puppy.
