Warrior Program (Veterans)

Hope Service Dog’s, Inc is planning our Warrior Program for veterans with PTSD, TBI, and MST. We will use our purpose bred golden retrievers (and possibly a poodle or two) for these heroes who have served our country.

We are still in the planning stages, while we await Ginger’s litter. Tentatively, our plan is to keep a dog for the program, start training and do prelim health clearances before placing the puppy with the veteran at around 6 months old. The puppy and veteran will bond for a couple months, while doing Heart & Soul Dog Training’s online course. Then attend group classes for 6 months with trainers from Hope Service Dogs.
