Learn to recognize weak points and the correct training strategies to apply to assure your dog reaches their full potential.

You will be learning from one of the top names in the service dog industry through a balance of lecture, demonstration, and hands-on training. Dogs of varying development stages and ability levels will be available for you to practice with and grow your training skill set.

This is your chance to learn how the perfect service dog is built.

Who: For service dogs, service dogs in training, service dog prospects, service puppies. Pet dogs are welcome. No aggressive dogs. Dog should be quiet and comfortable crated or in your car. This workshop is perfect for dog trainers and dog owners/handlers alike.

ALL DOGS must be up to date on distemper/parvo, rabies, and have a negative brucellosis test (this is available thru your vet), with documents emailed to Victoria@HopeServiceDogs.org. Bring a crate.

Where: Located in central Florida, about an hour from Tampa and Orlando, in Wildwood, Florida.

When: November 8-10, 2024
10am to 5 pm (with a break for lunch)

November 11, 2024 will be an optional day at one of the Disney Parks. The cost of the ticket is your responsibility.

General Waivers

Hope Service Dogs, Inc (HSD) will endeavor to create as safe an environment as possible for the training of the dog(s) identified above (hereinafter the “Dog”), and will offer only sound, safe, and responsible training, care, and post-training instructions. Owner agrees that all animals may exhibit unpredictable behaviors and that HSD will not be liable for the actions of the Dog that are outside the control of HSD. Owner agrees that the recommendation of HSD of any product or service is not a guarantee of performance or Owner’s satisfaction with that product or service. Owner acknowledges and agrees that owning any animal, including the Dog, has inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of dog bites to Owner, people, animals. Owner is responsible for the cost of any veterinary care required during the time the Dog is engaged in the program and subsequent to the program. Owner will follow all instructions for equipment and will not leave equipment on Dog while unattended or overnight. Owner agrees that, although the trainers will provide instruction and equipment for the training of Dog, owner is responsible for maintaining control of Dog and is responsible for the successful training, control and conduct of Dog at all times. This Service Agreement covers the relationship between Owner and HSD each time owner receives services from HSD. Owner affirm the terms of this Service Agreement and the truthfulness and accuracy of all statements owner has made regarding Owner and Dog/s. You (the Dog Owner) acknowledge and understand that there are certain risks involved in dog training. You hereby release and agree to hold HSD, its owners, employees, family, guests, visitors, associates and agents harmless from any and all manner of injuries or death, damages, claims, losses, liabilities, costs or expenses, causes of action or suits, whatsoever in law or equity (including, without limitation, attorney’s fees and related costs) arising out of or related to any services provided by HSD, its owners, employees, associates or agents, even under terms and situations of gross neglect. Services will not be provided by HSD without your complete agreement with the Service Agreement. Your signature conveys you understand and agree to all content and conditions specified within the Service Agreement. Terms and conditions of this Service Agreement may changed or updated. Aggressive Dog Waiver No aggressive dogs allowed. If your dog is aggressive, you will be asked to leave. Service Dog Waiver Not every dog has what it takes to be a service dog. During our workshop/school, we will train your dog and evaluate your dog for service dog workability. Enrolling in this class does not automatically elevate your dog to service dog or service dog in training status. Photo/Video Release I hereby assign and grant HSD the right and permission to use, reproduce, distribute, and publish the photograph(s), film(s), videotape(s), audio and video recording(s), electronic representation(s) and/or sound recording(s) made of me and/or my dog(s) at any time during the training and/or boarding of my dog(s) by HSD, and I hereby release HSD from any and all liability resulting from such use, reproduction, distribution, and publication. I hereby authorize the reproduction, sale, distribution, copyright, exhibit, broadcast, and/or electronic storage of any and all such photograph(s), film(s), videotape(s), audio and video recording(s), electronic representation(s) and/or sound recording(s) without limitation at the discretion of HSD and I specifically waive any right to any compensation I may have for any of the foregoing. I understand there are no refunds.
