Pirate was born on January 11, 2024, from our Peter Pan litter (Owlbert x Flounder). She is part of the second generation of HSD. She passed all of her health testing (with an impressive EXCELLENT HIP SCORE) and is an approved HSD Breeding Dog. She is a trained service dog.

Pirate earned her AKC Virtual Scent Work Beginner (VSWB) when she was 7 months old and then earned her AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC), AKC Canine Good Citizen Advanced (CGCA), AKC Canine Good Citizen Urban (CGCU), AKC Trick Dog Novice (TKN), AKC Virtual Home Manners Puppy (VHMP), and AKC Virtual Home Manners Adult (VHMA). She has also earned her AKC Trick Dog Intermediate (TKI) title.

At almost 2 years old, she earned her International Champion (IntCH) title at the September 2025 IABCA dog show in Brooksville. She is a good mover, happy. Her coat is a deep rich color, with good texture and condition. Her head has a pleasant expression, with good proportion, good stop, and correct scissor bite. Her eyes are dark with good pigment. Her ears are correct set at eye level. Her chest is well developed with good spring of rib. Her front quarters are strong, straight, and balanced, feet well-arched, with balanced, good angulation rear quarters. Her tail has good set and carried well. Her topline is level. Her movement is smooth and balanced with correct extension.
